Authority begins by taking a complete and accurate inventory of all rooftop equipment, and we maintain this inventory list as replacements occur. This list includes:

  • Unit count
  • Tonnage
  • Age
  • Refrigerant type
  • Equipment type (RTU, split, heat pump)
  • Make, model, serial #

As we acclimate to your budget cycle, we provide you with proactive replacement options that can reduce replacement costs, improve aggregate energy efficiency, reduce reactive repair and temp cooling costs, and reduce site downtime. We can also leverage our national relationships with manufacturers to further reduce replacement costs.

Pre-Leasing Surveys

Authority HVAC provides pre-leasing surveys that provide comprehensive analysis of a potential site’s HVAC equipment. This includes:

  • Unit count
  • Tonnage
  • Age
  • Condition
  • Make, model, serial #

Each unit undergoes a thorough mechanical evaluation that includes pressure readings and amp draws. Major rust and/or wear and tear items are documented with photos to assist in lease negotiations.

EMS/Controls Integration

Authority HVAC is capable of integrating services into the hardware and software of all major energy management and controls providers. Commissioning, pre-service call troubleshooting, and post-service call verification all enable our customers to fully leverage their EMS investments and reduce their HVAC R&M spend.
